This year we have two teams in National Div 4 – the Pitbulls and Polo Bears. Guess who won the crunch game between the two teams?????
Team comprised of Mark and Issac participating in their first competitive tournament.
The Polo contingent has started at the Outdoor Pitch on Wednesday evenings from 6-30pm, throughout the summer at the Cumberland Basin.
Come along and improve your boating technique, while having a laugh!
Club Polo Kit is available free of charge for members and loads of easy parking too.
Bristol Pitbulls went to Cheltenham on Jan 18th, 2019 for the second Div 4 National tournament winning three games. The team lost the other 2 games to the two teams at the top of the league.
Just a reminder that Pool and Polo sessions will resume on Wednesday January 9th, 2019. The Pool will also be shut between Christmas and New Year.
Some great news and many congratulations to the Bristol Penguins, who finished their final DIV SW Regional Tournament last weekend at our Outdoor Pitch. They won 14 out of 14 games and securing promotion to Div 1 SW next season. In addition their goal difference was +39 goals – obviously they didn’t play the Pitbulls!!!
Very best of luck in Div 1 Penguins – there are some mighty Sharks in that league! More details are available from James Putterill.
The Pitbulls had a little bit of a slow start to the new season 2017/18 with one win and 4 losses. However, two games were very narrow losses and this was a new team with great efforts from Sam and “young” Rob. Next time we will be stronger.
Big congratulations to our Penguin Polo Team who won their league and a massive trophy (see enclosed) at the international Canoe Polo Tournament in Belgium over the wee

The team included Simon Pearson (our Chairman), Adrian Clancy (Club secretary), James Putterill, Mike Sims, George Lungley, Zachary Gillett, Tommy Hewlett, and Pete Knight.
For those who played in Div. 2 SW at Millfield this season, the Bristol CC team came 5th out of 12. It was looking so much better prior to the final tournament!!
Thanks to Dan for organising the team and entry.
The Pitbulls had a very successful third tournament beating 3 teams above them in the league and a narrow defeat by the league Champions Cherwell. Congratulations to Cherwell for winning the league and good luck to our fellow Penguins for a play off spot.
