This is some information I’ve found out about the London 2012 Olympics, courtesy of Tony Barrass:

Please note that it is an artist’s impression of what the course might look like, that it may not be an entirely accurate representation and that if any body has any further queries they should contact Lee Valley Regional Park Authority.

As for flow the IOF stipulate a flow of 16-20 cumecs – ca 6 times that of the Nene, ca twice that of the Treweryn and not far short of HPP on a normal day.

Plus I do have a hard copy of an artist impression of the course – looks like a giant version of the Nene WW course with at least 8 pools and a convey belt to take paddlers in boats from the bottom exit pool to the top entrance pool – and shows it located directly behind Broxbourne station between the railway line and the river Lea in an area known as Spittalbrook.

Access by rail (bridge direct from station to course) and road (J25 on M25, head North up A10 and take turnoff for Broxbourne) is going to be very easy.
