On 21st Feb 2026, our Pitbulls Canoe Polo Team travelled up to Cheltenham to have the second set of games in the south West Regional league. Buoyed on by winning all of the games the previous weekend, the team was on top form. Our first game against Brecon A was a hard fought win with Emlyn scoring his first tournament goals. Queens College was another win at 5-1 to Bristol, so we felt prepared to take on Avon. Unfortunately following some questionable ref calls we lost 4-2. Redemption was needed against the two Rhonnda Rhinos teams, where two wins would put us top of the table. After a 10-1 win against their B team, it was the fight for first. In the first half Rhonnda took the lead, but after some good opportunities we brought back the lead. With 1 minute left we ran out the clock taking the game and the tournament.
