On Thursday May 30th, our weekly Club Session on the Docks participated in The Big Paddle Cleanup for 2024. We had 15+ members, including Dave Hill’s 5 year old son Toby helping clearing rubbish from the Arnolfini down to the Canoe Polo pitch situated below the Cumberland Basin. We pulled about 10 large carrier bags of rubbish out of the water including glass bottles, “half empty” plastic bottles and a Lego computer game package, so it was well worth the effort! Thanks to all members who participated.
