The Club held its 2025 AGM at the Novia Scotia last night (October 21st) and was well supported by 46 members. We had several committee presentations, elected the new committee and presented the annual club trophies. Mark and Julie Hamilton gave a magnificent presentation of their Yukon 1000-mile race earlier in the year. Thanks to all for attending, presenting and congratulations to the trophy winners.
Committee elected Mark Gillett (chair), John Wimperis (secretary), Rollo Warden (Treasurer) as officers, and the following ordinary members:
Alexandra Deane, Dave Brain, Genny Sargent, Lucy Townsend, Mark Hamilton, Mark Heeley, Niamh Connole, Robin Wilson & Steve Bennett.

Club Trophies were awarded to:
- Most Improved Whitewater paddler: Ollie Hugget
- Whitewater River God: Calum White for becoming a qualified WW leader and helping on courses
- Canoe Polo player of the Year: Joshua Doughty
- Most Improved Racing Paddler: Thomas Treffrey promoted from div 9 to div 7
- Racing Success Paddler: Harvey Lyons promoted from div 9 to div 6
- Blunder Bucket: Lewis Downward for breaking his foot on a doorstep during the Austria WW Tour
- Fish of the Year: Harvey Lyons for several notorious swims.
- Phil Longrigg Trophy was awarded posthumously to Colin Chudley and presented to his wife Greta along with a lifetime membership.
