North Wales

• The Berwyn Arms - paddler friendly pub with bunkrooms near Llangollen. This has recently chanegd owners (Nov 2004) and I don’t yet know about the new owners.
• The Goat Inn, at Maerdy, still owned by the previous owners of the Berwyn Arms
• Penybont campsite, Bala. This lot now seem to have got a bit fussy
• Pen-y-Garth campsite, Bala
• Glan Aber Hotel, Betws-y-Coed. Hotel/Inn with bunkrooms too

• Chalet Berwyn. A Chalet in Briancon (Frech Alps), run by the former owners of the Berwyn Arms. I know nothing about this lot other than their website.
• AlpinePlayground.com Some more Chalets in the Briancon area. I haven't used these, but they offer over 10 different apartments.
